15 Most talked about Nigerian celebrities of 2013..

Yes 2013 is gone in about 24 hours how has it been for you?? We love our celebrities, we love to talk about them,gossip about them,we want to know everything they get up to,where they are shopping,what they are eating and all that.

So we are looking back at 15 of them whose names were on her our lips all year Leggo!

1) Toke Makinwa

Dynamite,titanium is this petite lady,My GOD!! is there anyone we have talked about more this year!. Toke has received flak this year from left,right,middle,centre,everywhere!

From her relationship breakup,to her vlogs,her fashion choices. to attending all the events in town we have all been talking about Toke this year. But the funny thing is Toke's account has probably been the better for it as Toke's profile soared with so many gigs and endorsements she definately turned all the controversy into positives for her. 

2) Maheeda

Maheeda has proved this year that S*x sells and the best way to get noticed fast is to get Nak*d! Well she sure did that this year and she was trending all over the place we kept asking and talking and wondering what she would do next,even when she got banned from Instagram Maheeda dint stop she kept on sharing all those snaps.

Well seems to have worked as Maheeda  is said to have gotten a deal from a media outfit,countless interviews and even organised a date with Maheeda event.

3) Beverly Osu

Big Brother Africa Season 8 was hot! this year we all talked about it! from the S*x tape of contestant Pokello to the various alliances.But that series can never be completely talked about without the name "Beverly Osu".

She made the series, she talked about abortions,her mum peddling dr*gs, and revealed other private secrets on national TV!.Well it dint end there..Beverly was said to have made out with fellow housemate Angelo Collins which she still denies till today.

Then out of the house we hear she fought with best friend Charity Owoh over another BBA housemate Bimp, and that they even became an item outside the house.

We all just kept talking about Bev,well made her popular and the endorsements started to fall into place,prestige cosmetics and lots more.

4) Toyin Lawani

First it was that Tattoo of her daughter she had on her arm, we all talked about it,it was too big,too outrageous,too this,too that... but Toyin wasnt done and then boom! she hit us all with the news she was engaged to her boo 10 years younger than her! and no Toyin wasnt done she announced her preganancy in a "Big" way she showcased her collection in London and came out showing off her bump..No it dint end there she got us talking again when she rocked her half a million Naira worth of Human Mongolian hair and took the picture in her birthday suit..

Yes we all talked about this lady this not only for the gossip though her fashion choices,collections,awards and celebrity styling all made the news,

5) Emmy Collins

So somewhere on the Nigerian entertainment scene celebrities were doing their thing wearing what they liked and felt liked wearing and then bam! Emmy Collins lands on the scene and says not anymore, y'all gonna have to sit up and dress better,pay attention to your garment stitching,hem lines,body type and structure, getting your shoes right and all that.

He hit a few nerves with his Opinions about celebs in his writeups but we cannot say celebs did not kind of "Sit up" to avoid his bashing. Not forgetting Emmy's many twitter callouts which most times were one sided as Emmy hardly responded.

6) Femi Fani Kayode(FFK)

First it was revealing photos of his ex girlfriend online to somebody threatening to reveal details of Or*y's with his children and that very controversial piece about Ibo's and naming Bianca Ojukwu as his ex girlfriend. 2013 hasnt been devoid of  some FFK rantings and he sure had us talking for weeks!

7) Kemi Omololu Olunloyo

I wouldnt promise you this woman makes alot of sense all the time,sometimes maybe but she sure was the object of a lot of talks this year,from damning "Men of GOD" to calling them gay Kemi  "the Governors daughter" said alot this year and we sure talked about all those posts of hers.

8) Afrocandy

US based actress,singer,movie producer Afrocandy was on everyone's lips this year, From her very racy movie "destructive instinct",to her calling for auditions for male genitalia, and then calling out Beverly Osu,Uche Ogbodo and some other actress to come act in her Xrated movies..we all talked about Afrocandy especially all the racy photos she kept sharing on social media.

10) Cossy Orjiakor

Cossy was also on a lot of lips this year from reports of her insuring her b**bs,to getting married soon and lots more.Cossy got talked about this year too.

11) Annie Idibia

Getting married to one of the biggest stars Africa has produced in one of the biggest weddings of the year and then getting pregnant for the second time.Annie Idibia was sure on our lips this year not forgetting all the moments she shared through her Instagram pages with us.

12) Davido/Skelewu

Skelewu one of the biggest songs of the year by Davido who first got us talking about all his material purchases,the rolex,  the benz and then throwing out a dance contest for a $3000 prize  for Skelewu and then we were all waiting for the video... yea video comes out and Davido says naa thats not the real video we shooting a new one in the UK,new video comes out and he receives alot of backlash.

Then both directors who shot the different versions of the video lose their dads on the same,then Davido tweets that Skelewu is spiritual! He sure got us talking!

13) Lola Omotayo

Dating one half of one of the most popular African acts must come with a lot of pressure and then Lola had another baby for her beau,it came with a lot of flak with people saying Peter Okoye should "buy the cow" and not just enjoy the milk. Well he did cos we all kept talking about Lola,He did good by her and married her traditionally well just after proposing with a brand new range Evogue.

14) Wizkid/Olamide/Kcee/Burnaboy

These artistes were also prominent in our gossip parlours this year,for their music,their purchases;houses,cars and  Burna boi for his alleged deportation.

15) Linda/Laura Ikeji

Laura is sister to popular blogger Linda Ikeji and she sure got people talking,getting into Twitter battles with Emmy collins and then showing off invoices from her and her sisters' shopping in Dubai,these sisters sure got us talking in 2013.
