Hayden Panettiere PAID for her $10,000 Golden Globes gown... because designer Tom Ford only dresses one woman at each awards

Hayden Panettiere bucked convention on Sunday by wearing a Tom Ford gown that she purchased off-the-rack to the Golden Globes Awards.
The 24-year-old actress bought the estimated $10,000 dress herself since Tom is known for dressing just one woman per awards show.
The Nashville star gushed to E! News host Giuliana Rancic when asked what she was wearing on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

'Tom Ford. It's the first time I've ever worn him, because I've been begging. ... I feel sexy in it, I feel comfortable in it and I'm in Tom Ford. I would wear a plastic bag if it was designed by him,' Hayden answered according to an article on Tuesday by E! Online.
Hayden wore the halter-neck gown with a side split well and 52-year-old Tom apparently liked her decision.

The Heroes star on Tuesday shared via Twitter that the designer sent her a bouquet of flowers and a thank you note.
