A member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria Alhaji Tar confirmed the incident in a phone interview
"We got the information that they went there, and took away the women at the time none of the males were there," Tar said. "The three young men they met there could not help the women, as the gunmen also ordered the three of them to enter the Hilux vans, and took all of them away."
It is not yet clear when exactly the incident took place. According to Associated Press, the women were kidnapped on Thursday, June 5, while according to Bloomberg – on Sunday, June 8.
It will be recalled that more than 200 schoolgirls have been abducted by Boko Haram on April 15. Some of them escaped while the majority remain missing
