Casual Alicia Keys blends in with beach goers as she and husband Swizz Beatz take toddler Egypt for a fun day out in Rio

Life's a beach: Alicia Keys sported a blue vest top over shorts as she larked around with husband Swizz Beatz and their son Egypt in Rio de Janeiro on Monday
She may be a world-famous singer with a high profile concert appearance ahead of her on Friday, but Alicia Keys looked like any other young mother as she hit the beach in Rio de Janeiro this week.
The 32-year-old star sported a casual dark blue vest, over a bright green bikini top, and baggy blue shorts as she relaxed with husband Swizz Beatz and their two-year-old son Egypt in the Brazilian city.
She lay back on the golden sands and soaked in the sights, before helping her toddler build sandcastles with a bucket.

The singer/songwriter is in the South American city to perform at Rock in Rio Festival on Friday, but was clearly enjoying spending time with her family and a group of friends.
She was also spotted looking a far cry from her superstar image in a pair of baggy tracksuit bottoms and sleeveless top while chilling out with a friend at her hotel pool.
However, she didn't leave her rock and roll roots too far behind - her vest top was emblazoned with the slogan: 'Work, party, repeat.'

She and her hip hop artist husband seemed determined to do some sight-seeing too, at one point taking a helicopter ride over the city, with Alicia sporting a leopard print vest top over a white ensemble.
Alicia has previously spoken about how her husband and son have provided inspiration for her work.
The couple were married shortly after their son was born in October 2010.
'Many things inspire me,' she told Origin Magazine last September. 'First and foremost, my family, my husband and our son, Egypt. I find that the love we share fills me up and makes me see and appreciate life in a different way.'

'I feel alive in quiet moments with my son, riding our bikes or watching him line his trains up in a particular order, witnessing how his mind works, hearing him learn a new word.
'I’m alive in these special moments because I never knew a love like this.'
She also revealed how live performing is one of her favourite aspects of her job.

'When I’m on stage, my interaction with the audience is something that really makes me come alive. It’s a feeling like no other,' she admitted.
'The energy of the crowd fuels something new inside. It reminds me to live in the moment. Moments are so fleeting; I want to hold on to the good ones.
'When I am truly present, I feel alive, and I want everyone around me to share that feeling so we can make the most of that moment together.'
