President Jonathan Appoints Five New NNPC Executive Directors To 'Fill Critical Vacancies'
President Goodluck Jonathan
has approved the appointments of the new Group Executive Directors for
the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) with immediate
effect.
The
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben
Abati, emphasised that the appointments were made to fill critical
vacancies currently existing in the Corporation:
(1) Mr Ian Gregory Udoh – Group Executive Director, Refining and Petrochemicals;
(2) Dr Dan Iwoene Efebo – Group Executive Director, Corporate Services;
(3) Ms Aisha Mata Abdurrahman – Group Executive Director, Business Development;
(4) Mr Adebayo Ibikunle Ibirogba – Group Executive Director, Engineering and Technical;
(5) Dr Joseph Thlama Dawha – Acting Group Executive Director, Exploration and Production.

Mr Ian Gregory Udoh:
Origin: Akwa Ibom State. Previous positions: 1) Port Harcourt Refining
and Petrochemicals Company Ltd. (PHRC), the Managing Director, since
November 2012; 2) the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemicals Company Ltd.
(KRPC), the Executive Director; 3) Refining and Petrochemicals
Directorate of NNPC, the General Manager.
Dr Dan Iwoene Efebo: Origin:
Bayelsa State. Previous positions: 1) NNPC’s Human Resources Division
the Group General Manager (current); (2) Human Resources, Brass LNG, the
General Manager.
Ms Aisha Mata Abdurrahman: Origin:
Kogi State. Previous positions: 1) Nikorma – NNPC’s shipping
subsidiary, the Managing Director, since March 2011; 2) Hyson – NNPC’s
trading subsidiary, Managing Director; 3) Pipelines and Products
Marketing Company (PPMC), Executive Director (Services).
Mr. Adebayo Ibikunle Ibirogba: Origin:
Ogun State. Previous positions: 1) NNPC’s Engineering and Technology
Directorate – the Group General Manager, Engineering (current); 2)
Greenfield Refineries, General Manager (New Business), General Manager
(Gas Development) and Group General Manager. In 2010, Mr. Ibirogba
became the first African to be elected to the Board of Directors of the
World LP Gas Association.
Dr Joseph Thlama Dawha: Origin: Borno State. Previous positions: 1) Integrated Data Services Ltd (IDSL) since 2005, the Managing Director. He has served the Corporation diligently, over the years, in various capacities, in the upstream and downstream sectors of the industry.
