'She's a sugar mama': Kris Jenner 'takes Ben Flajnik on vacations and lets him drive her Bentley'... but he STILL insists they're just friends
Kris Jenner, 58, has been romancing Ben Flajnik, 31, since July, UsWeekly reported in their cover story Monday.
The publication also shed light on what makes the casual May-December relationship work. 'She's been taking him everywhere and paying for everything - a total sugar mama,' a source explained of the alleged couple that has a 27 year age difference.
But by Tuesday The Bachelor star was already telling People the momager is 'beautiful' but they're just 'friends.'
UsWeekly described the matriarch's attraction to the reality wonder as 'immediate' and they started 'hanging out' soon after he appeared on her show Kris in July, where he hawked his Sonoma produced wines.
'It got romantic right away,' claimed the weekly.
'They're not exclusive, it's more casual,' said their insider. 'She thinks he's fun and hot! She was so into him.'
But what keeps the couple going is her bank account, per the publication.
'He's always had a thing for rich, older ladies,' a source told the magazine.
In early September she took him and his friends to Joe Francis' 40,000 square foot mansion in Punta Pita, Mexico.
A few weeks later she filmed an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians at his Sonoma winery, giving his spirits a big pr plug.
On October 24 he was her date to her soon-to-be son-in-law Kanye West's concert in Oakland, California.
There was a shopping spree at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills the next day.
She has also let the attractive single man - who was once engaged to gorgeous model and Bachelor finalist Courtney Robertson - drive her white Bentley convertible.
Recently he was seen driving her car out of the gates of her Hidden Hills home, per People.
While hitting a wine bar in Huntington Beach on October, he explained Kris let him use the wheels for the weekend and they were working on a project together which is reportedly 'the company line.'
The fancy trips are not over, either.
In December she plans on whisking the hunk away again to, most likely, a tropical location, per UsWeekly.
'One of his friends has said a group of them are going back on vacation,' a source said.
Last week Entertainment Tonight asked Kris if she'd ever date a younger man.
Her response was: ''You find who you fall in love with in life. If they happen to be a certain age, they happen to be a certain age.'
Ben's reaction to the UsWeekly cover story was lengthy.
'We have some really great things in the works, and this is frustrating because it's not the light I wanted shed on our projects,' he insisted to People.
'It is like you can't do anything without people thinking you're hooking up or in a relationship.'
As for driving her car, he has an explanation for that too.
'I happened to be in L.A. and I didn't have a car, so she let me borrow hers,' he said.
'She wasn't even there. Her assistant opened up the garage and just said, "Pick one."'
The San Francisco resident also insisted his dealings with newly single Kris (this fall she announced her separation from Bruce Jenner) are strictly professional.
He even cried the reports are messing up his game.
When he takes a girl on a date, she will inevitably ask about Kris which he finds 'difficult' to deal with.
Ben was at least smart enough to then praise the very woman who is opening so many doors for him.
'She's a beautiful, smart woman,' he gushed.
'But we're friends. We talked this morning and she said, "Hey, don't worry." She understands why I'm upset and uncomfortable with [the reports.] She deals with this kind of thing on a daily basis, and I've worked really hard to stay away from this kind of image.'
Also on Tuesday, RadarOnline reported that the Kardashians have found themselves caught in a web of lies.
Kris claimed in a sworn court declaration that the family isn’t responsible for editing any of their reality shows. The declaration was part of a defamation lawsuit that was filed against her and her children by Robert Kardashian‘s widow, Ellen Kardashian.
Ellen was suing over how she was depicted in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kris said she only supplies 'comments and suggestions' to the show's producers and is not 'responsible' for the editing.
But Kim has in the past copped to having final say on what airs. In 2011 Kim bragged to CNN’s Piers Morgan that she had editorial control.
'I mean, I’m really particular on what I show about, you know, any relationship that I may have,' she admitted.
'Or there are so many personal things. And what’s so cool is our relationship with the show is from the start, they’ve always said we have, you know, the right to edit and to approve all the footage.'
A legal representative for the Kardashians told Radar: 'Ms. Jenner’s statements are accurate and consistent with prior statements.'
On December 17 a judge could decide to dismiss Ellen Kardashian’s lawsuit.
