Onazi, who was knocked out in the 54th minute of the Mundial round of 16 and had to undergo surgery on his left leg, lamented that FIFA did not take any measures with respect to their own rules, Leadership reports.
"The French side will announce to the world before a game that we are very physical so that they can come and commit murder and get away with it, yet FIFA will fold their arms and do nothing. I am totally in tune with Maradona, who believes that the tackle on me was worst that what Luis Suarez did to Italian Chellini."

Thus he urged the football body to watch the game again and apply necessary sanctions in relation to Matuidi.
It would be recalled that the Uruguayan player Luiz Suarez, who bit his counterpart Roberto Chiellini during the match against Italy, was harshly punished by 4-month ban.
Meanwhile Onazi’s forced removal became a great loss to the team and later the head coach Stephen Keshi would be criticized for replacing him with Reuben Gabriel.
