BREAKING NEWS: Bomb Explosion Hits Kaduna
There are reports that a bomb explosion rocked Kaduna today, according to reuters.
The bomb explosion is said to have occurred around the Asikolaye/Bakin Ruwa area beside Nnamdi Azikwe express bypass, according to a senior security official.
The Kaduna State Commissioner of Police Umar Shehu told Reuters by telephone that the blast which occurred around 8.30 p.m injured two people but caused no deaths, police said.
The explosion reportedly shattered many of the glass windows of some of the business premises around the area where the explosion occurred.
This is coming a week after gunmen carried out mass killings in Kaduna on June 24.
However no official details of the number of casualties and damage caused by the bomb explosion has been confirmed.
It would be recalled on June 25, it was reported that 123 were feared dead in the last few days in Kaduna Massacre by Fulani herdsmen who have been suspected to terrorists.

Meanwhile following the deadly attacks in the state, the Southern Kaduna Group have insisted on state of emergency in the state.
