Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner stand by grieving Scott Disick's side as his father is laid to rest
Scott Disick may be an only child, but on Thursday he had a lot of family around him.
While saying goodbye to his father Jeffrey, who passed away last week at age 63, during a funeral service at the Oakwood Cemetery in Bayshore, New York, the reality star was comforted not just by his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, but also her mother Kris Jenner.
This is the second time in three months the 30-year-old has had to say goodbye to a parent: his mother Bonnie, also 63, passed in October after a long illness.
Dressed in a black coat and wearing sunglasses, the father of two looked understandably sad as he sat next to Kourtney.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star was dressed warmly in a big, black coat and she hid her eyes in large pair of sunglasses. Her father, Robert, was also young at the time of his death: the lawyer was 58 when he passed in 2003.
Kris, who talked about her late ex-husband on The View Friday, stood out in white rimmed sunglasses. She too was wearing a coat and seemed to have her neck covered in a scarf.
Scott and Kourtney were first spotted in New York City on Monday, braving the cold in coats.
Their two children Mason, aged four, and Penelope, aged one, were not with them.
On Tuesday the star oddly posted a spoof photograph of himself and a friend re-creating a pose from Kanye West's Bound 2 video that featured a topless Kim Kardashian.
'Bound 3 directed by @mr_nbrown staring Sam Terzi! #bound' he wrote alongside the snap, which showed him playing the Kanye role, perching on a motorbike, clutching his friend's gold chains with one hand in the air.
Scott was raised in Eastport, Long Island but when he started dating Kourtney he moved to Los Angeles.
It was previously claimed the Disicks were uncomfortable with the Kardashian’s fame and preferred not to appear on their reality TV shows.
A source told Star magazine: '[Jeffrey and Bonnie] are completely removed from the Beverly Hills scene and look like fish out of water when they’re with Kris and her glamorous girls.'
